Welcome to the homepage of the Northern China Si Ping City Shao Lin Martial Arts Academy. Our facilities are open for students who sincerely wish to study traditional and modern Chinese martial arts at our facilities located in a serene, rural environment, next to the historical site of the Ye He ancient castle, which is part of an area that was instrumental in the establishment of the Qing dynasty.
From beginners to professional martial artists, we have been host to and trained over two thousand students from countries across the world, helping them through hard work and dedication to develop their skill in Wu Shu. Our academy is host to both male and female students from the ages of 6 and up.
Choose Your Path
In Si Ping Shao Lin Martial Arts Academy we offer 3 different options for our students, so they can specialize their learning process and reach easily their objectives. Every each one of these options count with highly capable and professional masters, all of them champions in their own disciplines.
Sanda
Also known as Chinese Kickboxing, it's a self defense system and combat sport originally developed by the Chinese Army, as a result of the adaptation of traditional Chinese martial arts with Western modern fighting techniques.
Is currently the most popular combat sport in China and it's very respected in all international fighting leagues.
Shaolin
One of the oldest Kung Fu styles in China, it was originated in Henan province around 1500 years ago. Nowadays it's mostly used as an exhibition discipline. It conditions the body with exceptional flexibility, speed, strength and coordination and features a large variety of branches. From weapon skills to stunning acrobatic tricks, it's one of the most popular styles in all China.
(In the academy we teach other exhibition styles along with Shaolin, like ChangQuan)
Traditional
We call this group of styles traditional because their focus isn't competitive, but raw and real combat and also because it teaches us to control the Qi (or vital energy) in our bodies. In the academy we study a variety of different traditional styles like Wing Chun or Baji Quan, known as one of the strongest and deadliest Kung Fu styles ever known.
(For example, the personal bodyguard of Mao Zedung used to be a Baji Quan master.)

The two top lines of characters in gold print show the school is run by local people of the people's republic, China. The numbers on the upper right-hand side are the certificate number and the license number.
The character in front of the second number means Si ping City Education Bureau and the character behind the number is a licensing code.
